BEING SINGLE

We don't wait for another girl
To come and date
Because we are already late.
And this is something to do with faith.

Instead of kissing and missing you
Eating and sleeping became a daily activity.
Don't find tears when you leave me
And don't have fear that you will lose me.

Neither bothered about a car that passes by my side.
Nor worried about a war that happens by my side
Because now i can go to my own destination for a ride
Which feels me more pride of being single.

 Sitting on soft cushion which feels like heaven
Instead of resting on your lap which contains thorns

Being a cricket fan,
we started watching every test match
sitting under the fan.

The deadly looking bottles lying in fridge
containing deleterious alcohol replaced
with Coke and Pepsi.

They were no horn sounds from your scooty
And this led to do my own duty.
But, still its upto a person to stay single or be in a relation.
Because past cannot be altered and future cannot be judged.
